Shed some light into your winter this month by checking out the visual works of  Petra Bachmaier and Sean Gallero (collaboratively known as Luftwerk) at “The Bean” over the next couple of weeks.  This is the first site-specific video and sound installation specifically designed for Millenium Park.  As if The Bean and Park weren’t already cool enough!

In addition, there will be family programs, concerts and dance performances in a nearby heated tent.  All of these unique and exciting events will be FREE to the public.  Luminous Field will take place from February 10-20 during the following hours:  Friday and Saturday 6-10 PM and Sunday through Thursday 6-9 PM.  The family activities in the heated tent will take place Monday – Saturday from 11 AM – 3 PM.
