Recently I finally got the chance to stop by Barrelhouse Flat for some drinks and I was pleasantly surprised! This place actually makes you feel like you have been transported decades back into a speakeasy with just the drink menu alone. The decor (an upstairs and downstairs) is so comfy and inviting it makes you want to spend the night. My cocktail of choice was “AirMail” made with rum, honey, lemon, and champagne…SO yummy! But let’s talk fashion, I have put together an outfit that would be perfect to sport for an evening at The Barrelhouse Flat. An earth tone blouse, cords, light loafers, and rustic handbag to complete the look. If you haven’t been yet , check it out….it’s sure to be a new favorite on your Chicago bar list!
